What is a .nl domain?
.nl is the country code top-level domain for the Netherlands. It is operated by SIDN – the Foundation for Internet Domain Registration in the Netherlands.
It is intended for websites whose content relates to the Netherlands and caters to Dutch or Dutch-speaking audiences.
Who can register a .nl domain extension?
Anyone can register a .nl domain extension, regardless of location or citizenship, for a minimum period of one year.
Unlike some ccTLDs that are only available to citizens and residents of the associated countries, you don’t need to be Dutch or reside in the Netherlands to apply for a .nl domain name.
