At Hostinger, we are committed to delivering a digital experience that is inclusive, accessible, and empowering for all users – regardless of ability, location, or device. Accessibility is a foundational part of our product design, development, and content localization strategies.
We believe that everyone should have equal access to online tools, and our mission is to build digital infrastructure that reflects that principle.
Our accessibility commitment
Hostinger strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA – the international standard for digital accessibility.
Currently, Hostinger is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This means that while some parts of our website and services meet the standard, other content does not yet fully conform. We are actively working to improve accessibility and address the remaining issues.
Accessibility progress and ongoing improvements
Accessibility at Hostinger is a continuous commitment guided by both international standards and regulatory requirements, such as the European Accessibility Act (EAA).
As part of our efforts, we have conducted automated accessibility audits using the Screaming Frog tool and other WCAG validation utilities. These audits identified issues including:
- Missing alt text and form labels (WCAG 1.1.1, 1.3.1, 3.3.2)
- Inaccessible scrollable regions (WCAG 2.1.1, 2.4.7)
- Insufficient color contrast (WCAG 1.4.3, 1.4.6)
- Non-descriptive link and button text (WCAG 2.4.4, 4.1.2)
- Improper ARIA attributes or headings (WCAG 1.3.1, 2.4.6, 4.1.2)
- Touch target sizing issues (WCAG 2.5.8)
- Lists and list items not structured correctly (WCAG 1.3.1)
- Form controls missing accessible names (WCAG 4.1.2)
- Content not properly enclosed or uniquely identified by landmarks (WCAG 1.3.1, 2.4.1)
All reported WCAG 2.0/2.1/2.2 A and AA issues have either been resolved or are in the process of being addressed through internal task tracking and product updates.
We are committed to continuously enhancing accessibility to ensure an inclusive experience for all of our clients, regardless of ability or location.
