With the help of Google’s Removals Tool, you may temporarily (up to six months) block any of your website pages from appearing in Google search results.
To make sure a page never appears in the search results, hide it from search engines in your website’s SEO settings.
Remove a page using Google’s Removals Tool
To remove a page from Google using the Removals Tool, follow the steps below.
- Open your Google Search Console (GSC) account. If you haven’t used GSC before, add and verify your domain name first.
- In GSC, open the Removals tab on the left and click on New request:
- Insert the URL of the page you want to remove from Google search results, select Remove all URLs with this prefix, and click on Next:
And that’s it! Google normally processes such removal requests within a few days to a week, but the exact time frame can vary.
