Hostinger vs Netlify FAQs

Is Hostinger cheaper than Netlify?

For most growing apps, yes. Netlify now bills in credits: Free includes 300 credits a month, Personal is $9/month with 1,000 credits, and Pro is $20/month with 3,000 credits. Those credits are used up by almost everything, including 15 credits per production deploy and 20 credits per GB of bandwidth. That means Pro's 3,000 credits cover about 150 GB of bandwidth if you spend them on nothing else. Hostinger is one flat price, from $3.99/mo on a 48-month plan (renewing at $16.99/mo), with 2 vCPU, 3 GB RAM, 50 GB NVMe storage, unlimited bandwidth, and a free domain and business email for the first year.
On Hostinger, nothing changes. Bandwidth is unlimited (subject to our Fair Usage Policy) and your price stays the same. On Netlify, once your credit balance is used up, all your sites are paused and visitors see a “Site not available” page. Paid plans can avoid this by auto-recharging extra credits: 500 for $5 on Personal, or 1,500 for $10 on Pro.
Not on Hostinger. Deploys are included in your flat price. On Netlify, each successful production deploy uses 15 credits, while preview deploys are free. If you ship updates often, for example with an AI coding assistant, 20 deploys alone would use the Free plan's entire monthly allowance.
Yes. Your app runs always-on, with long-running processes and WebSocket connections. Netlify is built around serverless functions, which have a 30-second limit for regular functions and a 15-minute limit for background functions. That works well for short tasks, but not for apps that need a server running continuously.
Yes. Every plan includes managed MySQL with connection details set up automatically, plus a 1-click Supabase integration. Netlify also offers a database, but database bandwidth counts toward your monthly credits.
Yes. Hostinger doesn't offer preview deployments, serverless functions, or scale-to-zero. Netlify also includes a built-in forms service, which is free and unlimited on credit-based plans. In return, you get an always-on server, a flat price with no credits to track, and a domain and business email included for the first year.
