Hostinger weekly product updates: Week 21, 2026
Here’s what shipped the week of May 18–22, 2026, across Domains, Hostinger Mail, Hostinger Agents (now Hostinger Agent), Hostinger Reach, and Node.js hosting:
- Domain Shield, a premium domain protection add-on, launched, starting with new .com registrations in hPanel.
- Hostinger Mail launched a Beta of Agentic Mail, connecting AI agents and automation tools to your mailbox through an API and webhooks.
- Hostinger Mail rebuilt attachment browsing.
- Hostinger Agents can now reach 15+ Hostinger microservices as MCP tools, and joined the Referral Program with 20% commissions.
- Hostinger Reach added custom contact fields and product-level filtering for post-purchase automations.
- Node.js hosting now remembers your last uploaded .ZIP file, and vulnerability scanning added GitHub-based auto-fixes.
Here’s a closer look at each.
Domain Shield is live
Domain Shield is a new premium add-on that gives you stronger protection over your domain, beyond standard registration. It adds up to 40 extra days to renew after expiry, keeps your DNS records active during that grace period so your website and email keep running, and requires OTP two-factor authentication on high-risk actions like transfers, nameserver changes, and registrant updates.
It’s rolling out first to new .com domain purchases in hPanel, with wider availability to follow. Here’s what Domain Shield is and how it works.
Agentic Mail is now in Beta in Hostinger Mail
Hostinger Mail launched the Beta of Agentic Mail, which lets you connect AI agents like OpenClaw and Hermes and automation tools like n8n and Zapier directly to your mailbox, turning your inbox into a live node in your AI stack.
Three things are live today: a full API to read, send, and manage mail programmatically; webhooks that ping your agent or automation the moment an email lands; and allow and block lists for fine-grained rules on what gets through.
It’s available on Business Premium plans, in hPanel under Email, then Mailboxes. MCP support and Skills are coming soon, so you’ll be able to plug it straight into Claude and other AI tools. Take a look at how to use Agentic Mail.
Improved attachment browsing in Hostinger Mail
We’ve rebuilt attachment browsing in Hostinger Mail, a common piece of feedback from people migrating from the previous platform. Attachments are now listed at the top of the email, the most popular file types have their own icons instead of one generic icon, and up to five attachments are visible at a glance (one on mobile), expandable if there are more.
Long emails show an attachment summary at the bottom with a quick jump link to the top, and Download all is available from both places. If you need to find your way in, here’s how to access Hostinger Mail.
Hostinger Agents can now control 15+ services through MCP
Hostinger Agents can now reach more than 15 Hostinger microservices as MCP tools, including DNS, VPS, domains, billing, mail, and the WordPress API.
You can just ask in chat instead of clicking through panels, to restart a server, restore a backup, update DNS, manage email, check invoices, and more. Big operations like migrations or backups run in the background so you can keep chatting, and anything destructive always asks for confirmation first.
The details are in the Hostinger API MCP server guide.
Hostinger Agents joins the Referral Program
You can now earn commissions by referring Hostinger Agents subscriptions. One- and twelve-month subscriptions are eligible, referrers earn a 20% commission, and the referred friend gets a 20% discount.
Existing Hostinger customers can be referred to Agents too. As with Hostinger Horizons, a referral starts as pending when your friend begins a free trial and becomes qualified once they upgrade to a paid plan. For the full rules, see how to use the Referral Program.
Custom contact fields in Hostinger Reach
Hostinger Reach now supports custom contact fields, so you can define your own attributes on contacts and use them anywhere you’d use a built-in field.
You can create fields per profile in five types: text, number, date, single-choice, and multi-choice with editable options.
CSV import auto-maps custom-field columns by label, validates each value against the field type, and reports row-level errors. Segments support custom-field conditions such as equals, contains, greater or less than, within the last X days, older than X days, and exists, and you can combine them with built-in attributes like tags and campaign events using AND/OR logic.
Reach’s AI understands your custom fields and can build segments that use them. It lets you capture what actually matters to your business, tiers, regions, lifecycle stages, birthdays, internal IDs, and target on it directly instead of cramming everything into tags or notes.
Here’s a guide to custom contact fields and how to use them.
Product-level filtering for post-purchase automations in Hostinger Reach
Hostinger Reach’s “Purchase completed” automation trigger now supports product-level filtering, so you can target automations to specific products rather than every purchase.
Choose “Any product” (the default) or “Specific products,” then paste product URLs, full store URLs get their domain stripped automatically, with inline validation if a URL is from a different domain. You can add up to 15 product URLs, each removable individually, and the automation flow card shows the selected scope, either “Applies to all products” or the number of specific products configured.
It means not every post-purchase email has to go to every buyer. Walk through how to set up post-purchase email automation.
Node.js hosting now saves your last uploaded .ZIP file
When you deploy a Node.js website by dragging and dropping a .ZIP file, Node.js hosting now saves your last uploaded file. So when you redeploy, you don’t have to upload it again, which helps when you only need to change environment variables or the content hasn’t changed. If your content or layout has changed, you’d still upload a new file.
The steps are in how to deploy a Node.js website.
Node.js vulnerability scanning adds auto-fixes
Node.js vulnerability scanning V2 adds auto-fixes. If you deployed your Node.js website using GitHub, Hostinger can now auto-fix located vulnerabilities, and you can select vulnerabilities in bulk to fix them together.
For each one, Hostinger opens a pull request on your GitHub account for you to review and approve; once you merge it, a new deployment triggers automatically and the vulnerability is fixed.
Some vulnerabilities can’t be auto-fixed and will need manual patching. Hostinger needs write access to your GitHub through its app to create the pull requests, without it, you’ll see an error.
