Hostinger AI Builder uses a dynamic credit system in agentic mode to calculate costs accurately for advanced AI tasks. This approach charges you based on the exact amount of work the AI performs, rather than a flat rate per request.
How dynamic credits work
Hostinger AI Builder calculates credit usage dynamically based on the computing resources and processing power required for your specific request.
- Fractional credit deduction: Credit usage is precise and calculated up to two decimal places (for example, 0.12 or 2.45 credits). You will only pay for the exact volume of work the AI performs to generate your response.
- Resource-based charging: Simple, short questions consume significantly fewer credits. Advanced requests that require heavy computation, deep analysis, or extensive code generation naturally utilize a higher share of credits.
- Manual edits also use credits: Edits made directly in Select & edit mode, such as changing text or replacing an image, also use a small number of credits, typically between 0.01 and 0.05, since these edits are processed the same way as AI-generated changes.
- Better results through step-by-step requests: Splitting large, complex projects into smaller, focused prompts allows the AI to dedicate its full focus to one piece of the puzzle at a time. This step-by-step approach significantly increases the accuracy of the generated code and provides the highest quality outcomes.
