What to do if your account appears empty at Hostinger

Troubleshoot Hostinger account appears empty by checking you’re in the right account, wait for payment processing, or restore websites after a late renewal.

Updated 4 days ago

A Hostinger account appears empty when you’re logged in to a different account than the one with your services, a payment is still processing, or your services have expired. Check each cause in order, and restore your websites from backups if you renewed an expired hosting plan late.

Option 1 – Confirm your Hostinger account

If you have more than one Hostinger account, the services may be linked to a different account. Check the following:

  • Try logging in with any other email addresses you may have used.

  • If applicable, check social login options such as Google, Facebook, or GitHub.

  • Look through the inboxes of your email accounts for messages from Hostinger. The email receiving those messages is the one registered to the account with services. To check which email address your current account uses, open the Account information page.

Option 2 – Payment is in progress

If you’re sure you’re using the correct account and you’ve recently made your first purchase, the payment may still be processing.

Depending on the payment method, it can take some time for the service to appear in Hostinger dashboard. In this case, no action is needed; once the payment is completed, the service will automatically appear and you’ll be able to set it up.

Option 3 – Inactive services

If a service is not renewed before the end of its billing cycle, it may stop appearing in Hostinger dashboard after the renewal period ends. Make sure all services in your account are still within their renewal window and haven’t expired, been suspended, or been canceled.

Restore websites after a late renewal

If you have recently renewed an expired hosting plan, your websites may appear as “empty” or missing from the dashboard. In this case, you must manually restore the data from the available backups:

  1. In your Hostinger dashboard, navigate to the Websites section and click Dashboard.
  2. Search for Backups in the sidebar.
  3. Select File backups, choose a date from before the plan expired, and click Next step.
  4. Select the domain folder and click Restore files.
  5. Repeat the process for Database backups to fully restore the site’s functionality.

Occasionally, an account may appear empty due to temporary maintenance on all associated services or Hostinger dashboard itself. You can check Hostinger’s status page to confirm this and verify service availability once maintenance is completed.

An empty account view is usually caused by a login mismatch or a payment that is still being processed. Once this is sorted, your services should appear normally.
