Hostinger expands its global footprint and secures 3,000+ servers amid an infrastructure crunch

Websites and apps hosted on Hostinger can now run faster, stay more stable, and scale more easily thanks to the company’s expanded global footprint. Hostinger opened a new data center location in Düsseldorf, Germany, and is expanding capacity in Paris, France, and Asheville, USA.

From online stores and business websites to SaaS products and VPS-based projects, Hostinger clients get a stronger foundation to serve visitors smoothly as demand grows.

A record order ahead of the market crunch

Behind every data center is one thing the whole industry has been fighting for: hardware.

The cloud and server market has faced a major supply shock often called RAMageddon. AI infrastructure demand, reduced memory production after the post-COVID price drop, and depleted global inventories created a shortage in the market. It affected not only RAM, but also CPUs, NVMe storage, and server components overall.

As a result, server prices increased sharply. Depending on configuration, Hostinger’s overall server costs rose roughly 5–6x compared with the previous year, while some infrastructure components are now 6–8x more expensive than in early 2025.

It’s not only about price. Some manufacturers were sold out for this year, and hardware lead times stretched from a few weeks in 2025 to around 30 weeks today.

Hostinger anticipated this shift and secured 3,000+ servers from leading manufacturers, giving the company enough infrastructure capacity to cover its needs for the full year. This record batch marks Hostinger’s largest server order to date:

What’s inside the new fleet?

The expansion is tied directly to Hostinger’s rapid growth, supported by platform-wide AI adoption and increasing demand across hosting services.

Hostinger has already started deploying the new servers to support the full product ecosystem, including web hosting, cloud hosting, VPS, and related infrastructure products. They use a mix of the latest AMD architectures, including AMD Genoa and AMD Turin, together with the latest-generation technologies such as:

• Read-intensive NVMe SSD storage for faster website and file loading
• DDR5 RAM for smoother performance on data-heavy websites
• RAID storage configurations to help protect data and improve reliability
• Dual redundant power supplies to keep services stable 24/7
