The free trial provides professional email capabilities with the following specifications:
- Mailboxes per website: The number of mailboxes depends on your specific hosting plan. You can find the exact mailbox count in the Hosting parameters and limits guide.
- Storage: Each mailbox includes 1 GB of storage. This is separate from your hosting plan storage.
- Trial duration: The trial length depends on your hosting plan’s billing period when you claim the trial. A monthly hosting plan includes a 1-month trial, a quarterly plan includes a 3-month trial, and a yearly or longer plan includes a 1-year trial. For example, a 4-year hosting plan includes a 1-year trial. The trial then runs until its own expiration date, so renewing your hosting plan doesn’t extend it.
- Usage limits: Certain features, such as Webmail AI credits and the daily message rate, have lower limits during the trial period compared to paid plans.
Hostinger Mail trial requirements
To access the Hostinger Business Email trial, you must meet these criteria:
- An active and eligible Hostinger hosting plan.
- A registered custom domain name.
Manage the Hostinger Mail trial expiration
When the trial period ends, you have the following alternatives:
- Automatic renewal: If you have a valid payment method added to your account, all mailboxes will automatically renew as a paid Hostinger Business Starter plan. This ensures no service interruption, your email resources will increase, and all existing content is preserved.
- You will receive an advanced notification via email with the renewal details.
- Manual upgrade: If no payment method is saved, you must upgrade your plan manually to a paid Hostinger Business Mail plan before the expiration date to keep the service active. You can choose to upgrade directly to Business Starter, Business Standard, or Business Premium, without first upgrading to Business Starter.
- Data backup: If you do not wish to continue with a Business Email plan, ensure you export your emails before the trial expires to prevent data loss.
When the trial ends, your mailboxes either renew as a paid Business Email plan, move to the plan you upgrade to, or expire after you export the emails you want to keep.
NOTES
- The trial expiration date is independent of your hosting plan expiration date. If your hosting plan expires before the trial ends, the trial is canceled.
- Ensure your payment information is up to date in the Billing section of Hostinger dashboard to avoid service interruptions.
