Hostinger Reach: Understand WhatsApp campaign costs and Hostinger Credits

Hostinger Reach charges Hostinger Credits for WhatsApp campaigns based on delivered and read messages.

Updated 1 week ago

Hostinger Reach charges Hostinger Credits for WhatsApp campaigns only after Meta reports a message as delivered or read, using an estimate that it reserves before sending. This article covers claiming the 300 welcome credits, reviewing the cost estimate before sending, how reservation and charging work, special charging cases, and where to check WhatsApp campaign reports.

Claim 300 Hostinger Credits for connecting WhatsApp

Hostinger Reach gives you 300 Hostinger Credits immediately after Meta successfully connects your dedicated phone number and WhatsApp Business Account to Reach. Select the welcome-credit button to claim them.

  • The credits are a gift and are not refundable.
  • They expire after 30 days under the standard Hostinger Unified Credits terms.
  • You can use them for WhatsApp campaigns or in Hostinger Agent.
  • The number of messages they cover depends on recipient destinations, so they may not pay for a full campaign.

Review the WhatsApp campaign cost estimate before sending

Message cost varies by recipient destination and the applicable Meta pricing. During campaign setup, Hostinger Reach shows the estimated cost for each destination country and the estimated campaign total before you send. Understand WhatsApp credit reservation and charging in Hostinger Reach

Stage

What happens

Estimate

Hostinger Reach calculates an estimated total from the eligible audience and its destination-country mix.

Reserve

When you send, Hostinger Reach reserves the estimated credits. If your available balance is below a positive estimate, the campaign does not send.

Wait for delivery

The reserved amount remains visible while Hostinger Reach waits for delivery and read information from Meta.

Final charge

Hostinger Reach charges only contacts with a Delivered or Read status. Sent but undelivered and failed messages are not charged.

Release the remainder

If the final charge is lower than the reservation, the unused credits become available again automatically. A separate refund transaction may not appear.

Special cases for WhatsApp credit charges

  • If only part of the campaign is delivered, Hostinger Reach charges the delivered share of the reserved amount, rounded up to the nearest credit, and releases the rest.
  • If every message fails, Hostinger Reach releases the full reservation.
  • If sending is interrupted, Hostinger Reach calculates the final charge from the messages that were actually sent and delivered.
  • Recipients whose destination cannot be priced are excluded from the reservation. If no recipient can be priced, Hostinger Reach can proceed without an estimated reservation.
  • A final charge can remain pending while Hostinger Reach waits for delivery information or retries processing. The displayed amount stays an estimate or reservation during that time.

Read WhatsApp campaign reports in Hostinger Reach

Campaign results update as Meta reports activity, so a newly sent WhatsApp campaign can show incomplete delivery, read, and credit information. Treat an unavailable value as pending, not zero.

Overall WhatsApp activity

Delivered messages, overall read rate, link clicks, and opt-outs across campaigns.

Hostinger Reach cannot reliably match replies and unsubscribes to a specific campaign because WhatsApp keeps messages in one conversation thread per contact, so it reports opt-outs as an overall total rather than a campaign-level metric.

What happens to credits when you disconnect WhatsApp

Your Hostinger Credits remain in the unified Hostinger credit balance and can still be used in other eligible Hostinger products after you disconnect WhatsApp. See Hostinger Reach: Connect WhatsApp and complete Meta setup for what else is affected when you disconnect or reconnect a WhatsApp Business Account.

With estimates, reservations, and final charges visible at each stage, you can track exactly how Hostinger Credits are used for every WhatsApp campaign.
