What is PIX?
PIX is Brazil’s instant payment system. It allows individuals and businesses to send and receive money electronically 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — including weekends and holidays — in just seconds.
How to pay with PIX at Hostinger
At Hostinger, PIX payments are processed via QR Code. Follow the steps below to complete your purchase:
- Add your desired service to the cart and proceed to checkout on hostinger.com/br.
- On the payment page, select PIX as your payment method.
- A QR Code will be generated and displayed on your screen.
- Open your banking app or digital wallet, select the PIX option, and scan the QR Code.
- Verify the payment details (recipient name and amount) in your banking app.
- Confirm the payment using your app’s authentication method (PIN, biometrics, or facial recognition).
- Once completed, you will receive a confirmation, and your service will be activated.
How long does PIX take to process?
PIX is designed for instant payments. Here’s what to expect at each stage:

If your service hasn’t been activated yet: wait a few minutes and refresh your hPanel. In rare cases, it may take up to a few hours for the payment to be reflected. If the issue persists after 2 hours, please reach out to our support team.
Frequently Asked Questions
I paid via PIX but my plan or domain is not showing up. What do I do?
In some cases, there can be a brief delay between your payment being confirmed and your service being activated. Wait a few minutes and refresh your hPanel. If nothing has changed after two hours, contact our support team with your payment screenshot and we’ll look into it for you.
My PIX QR Code expired before I could pay. Can I get a new one?
Yes. Simply return to the checkout page and go through the process again — a new QR Code will be generated for you. There is no charge for generating a new code.
Can I request a refund for a purchase made with PIX?
Yes, eligible purchases can be refunded in accordance with Hostinger’s Refund Policy (generally within 30 days of the transaction). PIX refunds are sent back to the same PIX account used for the original payment and typically arrive within 2–3 days. Please note that not all products are eligible for refunds — check the refund policy for details.
My bank shows the PIX payment was completed, but Hostinger says it’s still pending. What’s happening?
Occasionally, there can be a short delay between your bank processing the payment and it being reflected on our end. This is usually resolved within two hours. If your payment still appears as pending after that, please contact our support team and share your payment confirmation screenshot — we’ll investigate it for you.
Can I pay an existing invoice with PIX?
Yes! As long as you have a hostinger.com/br account, you can use PIX to pay any open invoice — including renewals and pending charges. Simply go to your billing area, select the invoice you’d like to pay, and choose PIX as your payment method.
Is PIX available for automatic renewals?
PIX does not support automatic renewals at this time. Each PIX payment requires a new QR Code to be scanned manually. If you’d like your services to renew automatically, we recommend using a credit or debit card as your payment method.
I made a PIX payment but the domain I wanted was registered by someone else. What happened?
Domain availability can change very quickly. If a domain was available when you started checkout but became unavailable by the time the registration was processed (for example, due to a delay or an expired QR Code), the registration may not have gone through. In this case, please contact our support team — we’ll verify your payment and help find the best next step.
