giropay is a German payment method based on online banking. It allows customers to complete transactions online using their online banking environment, with funds debited from their bank account. Depending on their bank, customers confirm payments on giropay using a second factor of authentication or a PIN.

Set up Giropay
To offer the Giropay payment method, you first need to enable Stripe payments in your Hostinger Ecommerce Store Manager. Once you do that, follow the steps below:
- Access Hostinger Ecommerce Store Manager. Go to Settings → Payments → Manage Stripe and open your Stripe account.
- In your Stripe account, go to the payment methods settings.
- Scroll down to the Bank redirects section, and click Turn on next to giropay:
This payment method will be automatically suggested for your clients in Germany.
