While it’s recommended to keep auto-renewal enabled to prevent domain expiration and website and/or email downtime, you may disable the auto-renewal feature at any time. By disabling auto-renewal, your services will not be automatically renewed upon expiration using your added payment method.
Auto-renewal is now managed via a toggle switch on the subscription row. To do so, go to the Billing section in your hPanel, then go to Subscriptions, click the toggle to disable auto-renewal for each service individually.

Carefully consider the warnings about the possible risks, and if you still wish to disable auto-renewal, continue with the process.
“What happens if I have an unpaid invoice?”
If you have a pending invoice on a monthly plan and you disable auto-renewal, the following will happen automatically:
- Your pending invoice will be voided (cancelled)
- Your subscription will be cancelled
- You will have the option to manually renew your service at any time
This means you no longer need to pay the pending invoice before being able to disable auto-renewal on monthly plans.
Please note — this does not apply if:
- Your invoice has been partially paid
- Credits were applied to your invoice
- You are on a yearly or longer billing cycle (1 year+)
For these cases, please contact support for assistance.
NOTES
-
Disabling auto-renewal doesn’t affect the status of your current services. They will remain fully active until their expiration date
-
If you wish to change your billing cycle, you need to have auto-renewal enabled
-
Disabling auto-renewal will not revert already applied charges
