Hostinger’s Record Investment: 800 Dell Servers With AMD EPYC Processors to Join the Network

Delivering fast, secure, and reliable hosting for your websites – be it an online shop, a blog, or a business showcase – is at the heart of everything we do.

We invest heavily to ensure we live up to it, and the latest example is the 800 server purchase from our long-term partners Dell Technologies and AMD. This is our biggest investment in servers to date.

Reliable and Innovative Technologies for All

“We work hard every day to deliver the best experience to our customers. I am excited that a year of record growth is followed by a record investment in hardware. This will enable us to continue offering quality and robust services at the most competitive prices out there,” says Giedrius Zakaitis, Chief Product Officer at Hostinger.

In fact, we’ve already started deploying the latest-generation Dell PowerEdge R6615 servers with the 4th generation AMD EPYC™ processors. They will power our web, cloud, and virtual private server (VPS) hosting and help handle infrastructure tasks.

“For years, Dell servers have reliably powered Hostinger services worldwide. As one of our largest and most significant clients in the Baltic region, this deal solidifies our partnership. With Hostinger’s remarkable growth, we anticipate further opportunities for close cooperation in the future,” adds Darius Korys, Account Executive for Dell Technologies in Lithuania.

“For demanding workloads, AMD EPYC processors have become the cornerstone of modern data centers. Their robust performance and efficiency underpin the advancements that shape our world. As a key partner, we’re committed to collaborating with Dell and Hostinger to deliver ever-more powerful solutions that fuel innovation”, says Alexander Troshin, EMEA Product Manager, Server Business Unit at AMD.

All-In-One Solution for Quality Hosting

Dell Technologies describes the new PowerEdge R6615 as the “best investment per dollar,” providing performance, flexibility, and low-latency storage options.

At the core of this one rack unit (1U) single-socket server lies the powerhouse AMD EPYC 9354P processor. It comes equipped with 32 cores and 64 threads, each operating at 3.25GHz, with the capability to reach a maximum boost speed of 3.8GHz.

The processor is built on AMD’s Zen 4 microarchitecture and manufactured using advanced 5nm FinFET technology. This design not only ensures top-tier performance but also brings superior stability and energy efficiency.

The server and processor are so well-tuned that they are over 20% more powerful than our current solutions, as shown by our internal tests. Additionally, the system is inherently safeguarded, as encryption is built-in at the processor level, thanks to AMD Infinity Guard which delivers an industry-leading set of modern security features.

Other notable features of the servers we use include:

  • Read-intensive NVMe SSD storage ensures instant loading of websites and their components.
  • The latest DDR5 RAM technology boasts increased data transfer rates and capacities, essential for managing data-intensive websites.
  • RAID data storage configurations with dual, redundant power supplies offer robust protection against data loss.
