Hostinger shares €11.8 million with employees through stock options
Hostinger has paid out €11.8 million to employees under its stock option program, allowing them to directly benefit from the company’s growth.
“We launched our stock option program nearly a decade ago, when we were still far from today’s results. Now, we are able to share the financial returns with colleagues who have contributed to the company’s growth over many years”, – says Daugirdas Jankus, Hostinger CEO.
About 10% of the company’s employees are part of the stock option program and will be able to exercise their options in the future under set terms.
According to Jankus, sharing the company’s success with employees is an integral part of its long-term talent attraction and retention strategy. The existing stock option program, launched in 2017, has been continuously refined in line with the company’s development.
Hostinger’s international team currently consists of around 900 employees, nearly 500 of whom are based in Lithuania. To sustain its growth and continue developing AI solutions for clients, the company plans to open 200–300 new positions this year alone.
Europe’s fastest-growing companies
Hostinger has seen rapid growth over the past decade, with its customer base rising from 100,000 in 2015 to 4.6 million at the end of last year. In the past year alone, the number of clients grew by 35%. The company’s revenue also increased significantly in 2025, climbing 51% year-on-year to €275.4 million.
Such fast and steady growth has been recognized internationally: last year, Hostinger was named to the Financial Times FT 1000 list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies for the sixth consecutive year. It also ranked second in the Financial Times and Statista “Long-term Growth Champions: Europe 2026” ranking, which highlights companies achieving exceptional revenue growth over a decade.
In recent years, Hostinger has been increasingly expanding the use of artificial intelligence across its products and operations. Last year, the company launched two new tools for its customers: Hostinger Horizons, a no-code platform for creating websites and web applications, and Hostinger Reach, an AI-powered newsletter marketing solution. Both make it easier for customers to engage with their audiences effectively—no technical skills required.
The company has also made a major leap forward with its AI assistant, Kodee. Today, upon user requests it can independently handle more than 350 different technical tasks. Over 80% of customer inquiries are now resolved with the help of Kodee, saving Hostinger more than €9 million annually.
