Management Changes: Daugirdas Jankus becomes Hostinger CEO

Having led our marketing activities for the past six years, Daugirdas Jankus became our new CEO. Arnas Stuopelis, our former CEO for 12 years, will continue as Chairman of the Board. Let’s delve into what this change will bring for our clients and the company’s future.

A Great Time for Change

As Arnas Stuopelis says, our business operates on a global scale, and the company culture is strong. Therefore, now is an excellent time for change. He is certain that Daugirdas’ visionary spirit and constant hunger for innovation will drive us towards even more ambitious goals.

“Daugirdas has already proved his leadership skills in many ways. The marketing team of nearly 200 professionals he nurtured and led has played a vital role in driving double-digit business growth (+64% YoY revenues growth in 2022) and expanding into new markets”, Arnas Stuopelis confirms.

As the Chairman of the Board, Arnas Stuopelis will focus more on formulating the long-term vision, strengthening relations with investors, and nurturing our unique culture.

Focus Stays on Clients

Daugirdas Jankus emphasizes that we will continue our mission to develop IT solutions that empower enterprising people to successfully achieve their goals online: creating e-shops, blogs, and websites showcasing their talents or services.

“By maintaining focus on this, we will continue to grow our business. In my new role, I will strive to better understand them. I will continue to proactively engage with them, gather their feedback, and collaborate with the team to develop products that better address our clients’ needs”, Daugirdas Jankus highlights.

He promises to ensure that our company grows, and so do our employees. Daugirdas Jankus says this will ensure we remain competitive in our industry.

Daugirdas Jankus holds a Master’s in international marketing and management and has over 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development.

Following the change in management at Hostinger, Kristina Strimaitė assumed the role of Chief Marketing Officer. Up until this point, she had been serving as the Head of Country Marketing, overseeing the company’s growth in strategic markets. Prior to that, she had been part of the Hostinger group of companies for over four years.

“At the start of the year, we embarked on the process of transitioning responsibilities within our organization. At first, I handed over my responsibilities and amazing marketing team to Kristina. This decision enabled me to enjoy some personal time and restart. Upon my return, I dedicated myself to acquiring the necessary context to start successfully as CEO”, Daugirdas Jankus explains.

With the burden of day-to-day operations lifted from his shoulders, Arnas was able to focus efforts on ensuring a smooth and successful handover. “I am genuinely grateful that this transition was not abrupt, giving both of us the time to adapt to the changes at a comfortable pace”, a new CEO states.

Ready to Thrive

This transition in leadership not only brings fresh perspectives and innovative strategies but also demonstrates our adaptability and willingness to embrace change. The future looks promising as we embark on a new chapter with the new CEO.

With a strategic vision, strong leadership, and a dedicated team, we are ready to thrive in an ever-changing business environment and deliver even better products and solutions to help our clients succeed online.
