Why Your Budget Matters 

Setting an appropriate average daily budget is crucial because it dictates how effectively your campaign can capitalize on fluctuations in consumer traffic. Google Ads automatically optimizes your spend, using more of your budget on days with higher

search interest (up to 2x your daily average) to capture valuable leads, and less on quieter days to save costs. 

If your budget is set too low, you limit the system’s ability to “flex” during these high-demand periods, potentially causing your ads to stop serving exactly when potential customers are most active. A well-planned budget ensures consistent visibility and allows the algorithm to maximize your return on investment throughout the month. 

To summarize, on some days we might not meet your average daily budget, and on others we might exceed it (up to 2x the set budget). But you’ll never pay more than your daily spending limit in a given day, or more than your monthly spending limit in a given month
