Hostinger Reach: Choosing the Right Plan and Setup (FAQs Explained)

Understanding Hostinger Reach plan limits, billing, and setup requirements

Updated 1 month ago

Hostinger Reach plans come with specific limits and features, and it’s common to have questions like: How many emails can I send? What does “3,500 emails per month” mean? What happens if I exceed my plan?

This article answers the most frequently asked questions about Reach plan limits, upgrades, billing, and what’s included.

Understanding Reach Plan Limits

Each Hostinger Reach plan includes two main monthly limits:

  • Unique subscribers limit
  • Emails per month limit

These limits reset every month on the first day of the next month.

Unique Subscribers: What It Means

Your unique subscribers limit defines how many unique recipients you can email during a month.

You can email the same people multiple times — what matters is how many unique email addresses you contacted during that month.

Example:
If your plan allows 500 unique subscribers/month, you can:

  • Send multiple campaigns to the same 500 people, and it still counts as 500 unique subscribers
  • But you can’t send to 501+ unique recipients in the same month, even if you delete contacts from your account

Emails per Month: What It Means

Your emails per month limit defines how many total emails you can send in a month — across:

  • One-off campaigns
  • Email automations

There is no daily or weekly sending limit. Only monthly sending is counted.

Example:
If your plan includes 3,500 emails/month:

  • Sending a campaign to 100 recipients = 100 emails sent
  • Sending another campaign to 200 recipients = 200 more emails sent
  • Total sent so far = 300 emails

If you send multiple emails to the same people:

  • Unique subscribers stays the same
  • Emails per month increases with every send

Does “500 subscribers” mean “500 emails”?

  • 500 subscribers = you can reach up to 500 unique people per month
  • Your emails per month limit determines how many total emails you can send to them

So you can email 500 people, but you can send them multiple emails, depending on your email quota.

Can I Increase Limits After Purchase?

Yes — you can upgrade your Reach plan at any time.

However:

  • You cannot increase only subscriber limit
  • You cannot increase only email limit

Upgrading a plan increases both:

  • Unique subscribers
  • Emails per month

What Happens If I Exceed My Plan Limits?

If You Exceed the Emails per Month Limit

Once you hit your monthly email limit:

  • You won’t be able to send new one-off campaigns
  • Active automations may stop sending and show a Failed status
  • You will also receive an email notifying about failing campaigns or automations

If You Exceed the Unique Subscribers Limit

Once you hit your unique subscriber limit:

  • You won’t be able to send campaigns to additional unique recipients
  • Automations may stop working if they try to send to recipients that exceed your plan’s unique subscriber limit

What’s Included in Reach (And What Isn’t)

What Reach Includes

Reach is an email marketing tool, so it includes:

  • Ability to send from your professional email address
  • Newsletter creation
  • Contact management
  • Email automations
  • Campaign analytics and performance metrics

What Reach Does Not Include

Reach does not include:

  • Website hosting
  • A professional domain
  • A business mailbox/webmail (for 1-to-1 communication and replies)

To send marketing campaigns, you must connect a professional domain.

Can I Build Landing Pages with Reach?

Not directly.

Reach does not include a landing page builder, but you can build landing pages using Hostinger Hosting service and build pages using various builders, such as:

  • Hostinger Website Builder
  • WordPress
  • Horizons

Then you can connect your site to Reach and sync contacts automatically

Can I Use Reach as a Standalone Tool?

Yes — Reach can be used without other Hostinger services.

You can use Reach as a standalone email marketing platform if you:

  • Connect a professional domain to send campaigns

I don’t have anything yet (no domain, no website). What should I buy?

If you’re starting from scratch, the best option is to purchase:

  • Hosting + Reach

By purchasing Hosting, you also get a free domain for 1 year, as well as access to webmail for 1:1 business communication.

This gives you everything you need to:

  • Build your website (for example, a landing page for newsletter signups) to start collecting subscribers
  • Set up a professional sending domain

I don’t have a website yet, but I already have a domain. What should I buy?

If you already have a domain but no website, you can purchase Reach as a standalone. Reach also works with domains purchased outside Hostinger.

With Reach, you’ll get:

  • The ability to claim 1 website for free for 1 year to collect subscribers

This allows you to quickly build a simple website/landing page using Hostigner Website Builder and start collecting subscribers.

I already have a website with Hostinger. Can I connect it to Reach?

Yes. If your website is hosted with Hostinger, you can connect it to Reach using our native integrations.

Reach currently supports native integrations with:

  • Hostinger Website Builder
  • WordPress

This makes it easy to collect subscribers and sync contacts directly into Reach and send emails using your domain.

I have a website elsewhere (not hosted with Hostinger). Can I still use Reach?

Yes — Reach can be used even if your website is hosted outside Hostinger.

In this case, you can:

  • Upload contacts manually using a .CSV file
  • Sync contacts using Public API integration

🔜 Coming soon: You’ll be able to build embedded forms and pop-up forms directly in Reach, and add them to any website don’t matter where it’s hosted.

If I buy only Reach, can I send emails right away?

You can start using Reach right away, but to send email campaigns you need:

  • A connected domain
  • List of recipients to send emails to. You are responsible for sending emails to recipients that gave you consent.

If you already have a domain, you can connect it and start sending campaigns immediately.

Does Reach include business email/webmail?

No. Reach is an email marketing tool and does not include access to Hostinger Business email service, therefore, access to webmail for business 1-to-1 communication.

If you need a mailbox for sending and receiving emails (like a regular inbox), you’ll need a separate Business Email plan or a hosting plan that includes it.
