Supabase adds backend features to your project – like storing data, handling sign-ups and logins, or syncing updates in real time – without you having to build it all from scratch.
Think of it as the behind-the-scenes system that powers your project. While Horizons handles what people see (the frontend), Supabase manages everything in the background (the backend).
We recommend connecting Supabase early in the building process if you plan to add sign-ups and logins, subscriptions, or any kind of data or file storage to your project.
Steps to connect Supabase
- Click the Integrations button in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Click Supabase in the integrations list.
- Click the Connect button. You’ll be redirected to the Supabase page, where you can log in to an existing account or create a new one.
- Select the Supabase organization you want to manage through Hostinger Horizons. If you don’t have an organization, you’ll be able to create one after creating your Supabase account.

After creating a new project, go back to Horizons and press the refresh icon to see your newly created project.
- Confirm the action by clicking Connect in the confirmation modal.
- Wait for the connection to complete. You can track the progress in the chat.
