How to reset a Hostinger Email mailbox password

Reset or change your Hostinger Email mailbox password through Hostinger dashboard’s Email section if you forgot your password, or through Hostinger Webmail if you’re already logged in and want to change it directly. This guide covers your Hostinger Email mailbox password specifically, not your Hostinger account login password or a Titan Email password, which each use separate reset steps.

Before you start

Check which password you forgot:

• Hostinger Email mailbox password – follow this guide.
• Hostinger account login password – reset your Hostinger account password.
• Titan Email mailbox password – reset a Titan Email password.

Option 1 requires access to Hostinger dashboard. If you can’t open the email address linked to your Hostinger account, recover your account without email access first. This also applies if your Hostinger account email is a Hostinger Email mailbox whose password you forgot, because you can’t receive the account reset email.

Option 1 – Change password via Hostinger dashboard

Use this option if you forgot the current password of your Hostinger Email mailbox and can log in to Hostinger dashboard. The steps below don’t ask for the current password. If you can’t log in, reset your Hostinger account password first, or recover your account if you no longer have access to its email address.

1. Go to the Emails section of Hostinger dashboard.

   

2. Click Mailboxes next to the domain name you want to manage

   

3. Find the mailbox in question and click the Options (⋮) button, then select Change Password.

   

4. Enter a new password manually or use the password generator. If setting your own password, ensure it:

   1. Is 8-50 characters long.

   2. Includes at least one number, one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter, and one symbol.

   3. Uses only Latin letters.

5. Click Update—your new password is now set. You can use it to log in to Webmail or configure an email client.

   

Option 2 – Change password via Webmail

If you remember your current password, you can change it from in Webmail:

1. 1. Log in to Hostinger Webmail.

   2. Open All Settings under Settings icon in the top right corner

   3. click Change password under Account settings page.

1. 1. Enter your current password.

   2. Type your new password and confirm it by entering it again.

   3. Click Save changes—your email password is now updated.

After resetting your password, remember to update it in your email client if you have one.
