In this guide, you’ll find clear information about the available plans for Hostinger Horizons and the logic behind credit limits and upgrades.

How Horizons works

Horizons is a prompt-based tool that allows you to build entire web applications without coding knowledge. To create and publish Horizons projects, you need an active hosting plan. Hostinger offers multiple hosting plans — check available options here: Hostinger plans.

Note: If you purchase a Horizons subscription, you may receive free hosting for a limited duration depending on current promotions. Always check the details shown during checkout/purchase flow.

How AI credits work
Horizons uses AI credits for prompts where coding changes are made.
1 message (prompt) = 1 AI credit if coding changes were done.
If no changes are made, the message may be free.
Note: A fair use policy may apply — in some cases, all messages may start costing 1 credit per message.

Available plans

Currently, we have four Horizons plans available, and the only difference between them is the monthly AI credits limit:

Horizons subscription provides AI credits. AI credits are used to write messages and make changes within the platform.

Unused monthly AI credits expire at the end of the billing period and do not roll over upon subscription renewal.

Remember that you can always check your current credit usage and remaining count from within your Horizons dashboard:

You can manage, upgrade, or cancel your Horizons subscription directly from your Hostinger account:

Go to Billing → Subscriptions
Select Manage Subscription to make changes

Top-ups

Need more AI credits You can buy additional top-ups without upgrading your plan.

Top-ups are more expensive per credit than subscriptions, but they don’t require an additional subscription.
Top-ups expire 3 months after purchase if unused.
Top-up options range from 10 credits to thousands.

You can purchase top-ups by selecting the option to upgrade:

Upgrading your plan

You can upgrade your Horizons plan at any time to meet increased credit needs. To do so and to check upgrade pricing, you can click on Upgrade Plan button, as below:

When you upgrade, the change takes effect immediately. The new credit limit is applied right away.

Note: When upgrading to a higher-tier plan, you pay the new plan price minus a credit for unused messages from already paid invoices in the same subscription (until the renewal invoice).

Example:

You buy Starter for $10, use half the messages, and upgrade to Hustler for $20 → you get a $5 credit for unused messages and pay $15.
You buy Starter for $10, use all messages, and upgrade to Hustler for $20 → you pay the full $20, receiving all messages immediately.

For annual plans, unused monthly messages do not carry over to the next month — once the month passes, unused messages expire and are treated as “used”.

After upgrading, users instantly receive all the messages included in the new plan. When you upgrade, the renewal date changes based on the day the upgrade happens.

Renewing your plan

Credits are refreshed at the start of each new monthly billing cycle. Unused monthly credits expire at the end of the billing period and do not roll over. If you need more credits before renewal, you can either upgrade your plan or purchase a one-time top-up.
