WhatsApp marketing FAQs
Do I need a separate phone number?
Yes. Reach needs a dedicated number that is not currently used in the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app. Keep the number you use for everyday customer conversations in that app and connect a different number to Reach.
Can customers reply to my campaigns?
They can reply, but Reach does not show those replies or provide an inbox yet. A STOP reply unsubscribes the contact from future WhatsApp campaigns. Automatic replies are coming later.
Do I need permission before sending?
Yes. Send WhatsApp marketing messages only to customers who have opted in. Add a WhatsApp checkbox to a Reach form to collect consent and automatically update their subscription status. If you collected consent elsewhere, you can record it in Reach.
Do my messages need approval?
Yes. Create your marketing message in Reach and submit it to Meta. Once Meta approves it, you can select it for a campaign. Approval timing varies.
Can I send WhatsApp marketing messages to US phone numbers?
No. Meta currently restricts WhatsApp marketing messages to US phone numbers, so Reach excludes those recipients.
How are campaigns charged?
WhatsApp marketing is included with Pro plans, and message sends use Hostinger Credits. Prices vary by recipient country. Reach shows an estimate before sending and charges only for delivered messages. You can top up credits when needed.
What else can I do with Reach?
You can create and send email campaigns, collect and manage contacts, and set up automated email follow-ups.
