In this article, you&rsquo;ll learn how to reinstall WordPress.<\/p><p>There are two major ways to uninstall and reinstall WordPress. You can either reinstall WordPress while keeping all of your existing content or delete all of your files and install a fresh new copy. We&rsquo;ll go over both in detail.<\/p><p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-reinstalling-wordpress-via-the-admin-dashboard\">Reinstalling WordPress via the admin dashboard<\/h2><p>\n\n\n<div><p class=\"important\"><strong>Important!<\/strong> We highly recommend making a <a href=\"\/uk\/tutorials\/backup-wordpress\">backup of your WordPress files<\/a> before attempting anything. Having a failsafe just in case is the best practice.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<\/p><p>This is the simplest way to reinstall WordPress while keeping all of your content. It requires access to the WordPress dashboard. With this method, you must download and re-upload your <strong>wp-content<\/strong> files manually.<\/p> <ol class=\"schema-how-to-steps\"><li class=\"schema-how-to-step\" id=\"how-to-step-1740553138428\"><strong class=\"schema-how-to-step-name\"><\/strong> <p class=\"schema-how-to-step-text\">Go to your website&rsquo;s dashboard on hPanel and navigate to <strong>Files &rarr; File Manager<\/strong>.<\/p> <\/li><li class=\"schema-how-to-step\" id=\"how-to-step-1740553291884\"><strong class=\"schema-how-to-step-name\"><\/strong> <p class=\"schema-how-to-step-text\">Locate the <strong>wp-content <\/strong>folder inside <strong>public_html<\/strong> and <strong>Download<\/strong> it to your computer.
