Payment subscriptions have become really popular these days. They allow customers to purchase some kind of recurring service and forget about paying the bill manually after each payment cycle. The subscription deducts money automatically so you will never forget to pay for the service you purchased.
However, some people don’t like when money is deducted from their credit card automatically. They would rather pay manually.
In this tutorial, we will learn how to cancel automatic credit card payment subscriptions on 2checkout.
What you’ll need
Before you begin this guide you’ll need the following:
2CO Order Number or the number of your credit card
Email address you used when submitting your payment/-s through 2co
An active payment subscription
Step 1 — Finding your payment subscription on 2co.com
First of all, you will need to find the payment subscription on 2checkout. You can do this here: https://2co.com/
(Method 1) – Find your payment subscription by filling in 2CO Order Number and your email address, then click Find My Order.
(Method 2) – Find your payment subscription by filling in first 6 and last 2 digits of your credit card and your email address, then click Find My Order.
After clicking Find My Order you should see a page with your billing information and transaction history (This is a history of payments processed only by 2checkout.com). It should look similar to this:
Step 2 — Canceling payment subscription
Once inside the page which contains your billing details, order history, etc. scroll down to the very bottom of the page until you see a section named I’d like to….
You should see an option Stop my recurring membership or subscription there. Click it in order to check what active payment subscriptions you have and/or cancel any of them.
A pop-up window will appear with a list of your active and/or stopped payment subscriptions.
Please check the checkbox/-es of payment subscription/-s you would like to stop and click Stop Selected.
And that is it! You have stopped a payment subscription on 2checkout. An email confirmation will be sent to your email address upon canceling the subscription. You will also see (stopped) next to the stopped subscription/-s.
We have learned how to cancel payment subscriptions on 2checkout. It is recommended to check your subscriptions once in a while so you could be aware of any upcoming automated billings.
