There are several ways to check the PHP version of your website 👇<\/p>

In the PHP Info Section<\/h2>

To check the PHP version of your website, go to the Websites<\/a> <\/b>section and click on Dashboard <\/b>next to the website in question. Then, search for PHP Info<\/b> on the sidebar, and click on it:<\/p>

Your current PHP version will be displayed at the top:<\/p>

To change it, go to the PHP configuration settings<\/a><\/b> 💡<\/p>

In the File Manager<\/h2>

A different PHP version can be applied to a specific folder or subdomain<\/a><\/b>.<\/p>

To check if the change was done correctly:<\/p>

    Access the folder you want to test<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Create a new .php<\/b> file (e.g., phpinfo.php<\/code>)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Add the following code to the file:<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>

    <?php\r\n\/\/ Show all information, defaults to INFO_ALL\r\nphpinfo();\r\n?><\/code><\/pre>
    The file will look like this:<\/p>

    After this, access this file by the URL: type your domain name, then the folder name, and add the filename. For the file above, the path would be:<\/p>
    https:\/\/domain.tld\/subdomain\/phpinfo.php<\/code><\/pre>
    The PHP version should be displayed at the top:<\/p>

    Changing the PHP version using files is not recommended<\/b>, as it doesn’t include PHP extensions and options. Thus, it might affect the website’s work 💡<\/p>\n<\/div>
    NOTE<\/strong>: If you’re using PHP 8.1 or below, these versions are deprecated and no longer receive security updates. For optimal security and compatibility, we recommend upgrading to PHP 8.2 or PHP 8.3.
