While playing source games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Team Fortress 2, or Counter-Strike 2, <\/b>you might want to install plugins to your server to improve the gameplay on your server. <\/p>

\n<\/p>

Plugin support requires SourceMod<\/a> <\/b>and MetaMod<\/a> <\/b>to be installed on your server. You can do so by following this guide:<\/p>

\n<\/p>

Step 1 – Download the SourceMod and MetaMod Files<\/h2>

  1. \n

    Head to SourceMod<\/a> <\/b>and MetaMod<\/a> <\/b>download pages<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Make sure to download the latest available builds for Linux<\/b>:<\/p>\n

    Create a separate folder for Sourcemod and Metamod files. Once files are extracted it should look like this:<\/p>\n

    Open the Addons<\/b> folder and delete the metamod.vdf <\/b>file:<\/p>\n

    Step 2 – Prepare a New VDF File<\/h2>

      Open the VDF Generator<\/a> <\/b>tool on your web browser<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      In the dropdown menu, select the game you will want to install it for and click on the Generate metamod.vdf<\/b> button to download the new file:<\/p>\n

      Save the file into the addons<\/b> folder in your local device<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Compress both the addons and cfg folders<\/b> into one file – make sure to use the .zip<\/b> format<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Head to Game Panel file manager and navigate to the path<\/b> according to the game server you want to install this on. For example:<\/p>\n

        Team Fortress 2 – \/232250\/tf<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n
