The Security<\/b> option of the WordPress Overview<\/a><\/b> allows you to manage your WordPress version, themes, and plugins without accessing the WordPress Admin area. It also provides important security information that will help keep your site always secure and up to date.<\/p>

You can reach it by opening Websites<\/a> <\/b>→ Dashboard<\/b>, searching for Security <\/b>on <\/b>the left sidebar, and clicking on it:

You will be presented with three sections with information and options to manage.<\/p>

WordPress version<\/h2>

If you have the latest WordPress version<\/b>, it will appear marked marked with a green checkmark<\/b>. In case your core files need to be updated, you will have the option to do so with a single click:<\/p>

Installed themes<\/h2>

Scroll down to find a list of all the themes installed on your website<\/b>. Here, you can see which ones are active and whether they are secure:<\/p>

Installed plugins<\/h2>

After the installed themes table, you will find the installed plugins:<\/p>

    Security<\/b> – shows whether the theme\/plugin is secure or if Patchstack<\/a> <\/b>has detected a vulnerability.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Recommendation<\/b> – suggestions to improve the website security by taking action on the plugin or theme.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Activation toggle<\/b> – easily enable or disable plugins without accessing the WordPress admin area<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Update<\/b> – easily Update<\/b> the theme or plugin.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Trash bin<\/b> – if you need to Delete <\/b>the theme or plugin.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>
