Go to Audience &rarr; Contacts, click Import contacts, and upload your file. Then name a segment, add tags, and complete the import.<\/p><h3>Before you start<\/h3><p>Make sure to have:<\/p><ul>\n<li>An active <a data-click-id=\"hgr-post-content-link-hostinger-reach-2\" href=\"https:\/\/hostinger.com\/reach\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hostinger Reach<\/a> subscription.<\/li>\n<li>A contact list saved in <code>.csv<\/code> format.<\/li>\n<li>An <strong>Email<\/strong> column included in your file (required).<\/li>\n<\/ul><h2 id=\"h-upload-your-contacts-to-hostinger-reach\">Upload your contacts to Hostinger Reach<\/h2><p data-start=\"733\" data-end=\"764\">To import your subscriber list:<\/p><ol>\n<li>Go to <strong>Hostinger dashboard<\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&rarr;<\/span> <a data-click-id=\"hgr-post-content-link-email-marketing\" href=\"https:\/\/hpanel.hostinger.com\/email-marketing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Email marketing<\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Locate your subscription and click <strong>Open Reach<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Navigate to <strong>Audience<\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&rarr;<\/span> template at this step and use it to prepare your data before uploading.<\/p><h2 id=\"h-complete-the-import\">Complete the import<\/h2><p>After uploading the file, review the import details and Segmentation is required to send campaigns. Enter a segment name or use the suggested one.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tags<\/strong>: The segment name is automatically applied as a tag. You can add additional tags if needed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Note<\/strong> (optional): Add any internal information about this import.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Click <\/span><b>Import contacts<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">to complete the import.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol><p>To use another source file, click on <strong>Upload different file<\/strong> and repeat the process.<\/p><h2 id=\"h-troubleshooting-common-import-issues\">Troubleshooting common import issues<\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If some contacts cannot be imported, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">you will be able to download the error report in the Review step<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We recommend overseeing the issues and re-uploading again.<\/span><\/p><h3>Error: Unsupported file type<\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In case you try to upload a file and the file type is not supported, follow these steps:<\/span><\/p><ul>\n<li>Ensure the file is in <code>.csv<\/code> format, not Excel (<code>.xlsx<\/code>).\n<ul>\n<li>In Excel or Google Sheets, use File &rarr; Download\/Save As &rarr; CSV (Comma-separated values).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Do not upload compressed files (<code>.zip<\/code>).<\/li>\n<li>If special characters cause issues, re-save the file using standard CSV encoding.<\/li>\n<\/ul><h3><b>Duplicated email addresses&nbsp;<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If duplicate email addresses exist in the file, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">you will be able to choose whether to skip them or update them with data from your file. In case any duplicates will be found, you&rsquo;ll see that in the <\/span><b>Review<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> step.<\/span><\/p><p>Once the import is complete, your contacts appear in Hostinger Reach with the segment and tags you set, ready for your next email campaign.
