You can modify the AI model used by your OpenClaw by updating your API provider settings in hPanel. <\/span><\/p>

With 1-Click OpenClaw, you can use only nexos.ai, OpenAI, Anthropic, or xAI. You can pick different models within nexos.ai.<\/span><\/p>

Change Models Using nexos.ai<\/span><\/h2>

If you are using the integrated <\/span>nexos.ai<\/span><\/a> provider, you can change models directly through hPanel:<\/span><\/p>

  1. Log in to <\/span>hPanel<\/b> and navigate to the <\/span>OpenClaw<\/b> section.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Click the <\/span>Add another AI provider manually <\/b>section.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Select the model you want to use.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Click save and update<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>

    Switch to a custom AI provider<\/span><\/h2>

    To use a model from a different provider, (possibilities are OpenAI, Anthropic, or xAI), you must manually update your API key.<\/span><\/p>

    1. Go to the <\/span>OpenClaw<\/b> section in <\/span>hPanel<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Click the <\/span>Options<\/b> (⋮) button next to your instance and select <\/span>Manage<\/b>.

    3. Locate the section labeled <\/span>Add another AI provider manually<\/b> and click the arrow to expand the options.

    4. Enter the API key<\/strong> obtained from your chosen vendor (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Google Gemini, or nexos.ai).. <\/span>

      After adding a new API key, click <\/span>OpenClaw<\/b> to launch the application. A <\/span>Starting OpenClaw<\/b> window will appear while the system automatically identifies the new key and runs the necessary configurations. <\/span><\/p>
