With the help of Google’s Removals Tool<\/a><\/b>, <\/b>you may temporarily (up to six months) block any of your website pages from appearing in Google search results. This is different from requesting that Google index a page<\/a>, which asks Google to add a page to search results rather than remove one.<\/p>

To make sure a page never appears in the search results, hide it from search engines<\/a><\/b> in your website’s SEO settings.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Remove a page using Google’s Removals Tool<\/h2>

To remove a page from Google using the Removals Tool<\/b>, follow the steps below.<\/p>

  1. Open your Google Search Console<\/a> <\/b>(GSC) account. If you haven’t used GSC before, add and verify your domain name<\/a> <\/b>first, or verify a URL property at Google Search Console<\/a> if you need ownership at the URL level instead of the domain level.<\/li>\n
  2. In GSC, open the Removals <\/b>tab on the left and click on New request<\/b>:

  3. Insert the URL of the page you want to remove from Google search results, select Remove all URLs with this prefix<\/b>, <\/b>and click on Next<\/b>:
