{"id":727,"date":"2022-12-22T15:22:11","date_gmt":"2022-12-22T15:22:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.hostinger.io\/support\/2022\/12\/22\/6845407-what-to-do-if-your-titan-email-account-is-suspended\/"},"modified":"2026-03-16T12:12:04","modified_gmt":"2026-03-16T12:12:04","slug":"6845407-what-to-do-if-your-titan-email-account-is-suspended","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hostinger.com\/support\/6845407-what-to-do-if-your-titan-email-account-is-suspended\/","title":{"rendered":"What to do if your Titan Email account is suspended"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"no-margin\">If you&rsquo;re using <a href=\"\/support\/5832752-how-to-check-the-email-service-included-on-your-hosting-account\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"intercom-content-link\">Titan Email<\/a><b> <\/b>and you face a suspension, first, make sure that the suspension is related to the email service:<\/p><ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">For <b>Titan Free<\/b>,&nbsp;ensure your&nbsp;<b>hosting is active<\/b>&nbsp;and not <a href=\"\/support\/4146981-what-to-do-if-your-hosting-plan-is-suspended-or-canceled\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"intercom-content-link\">suspended or canceled<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">For <b>Titan Business<\/b> and <b>Titan Enterprise<\/b>,&nbsp;if your email plan is suspended because of non-payment,&nbsp;<a href=\"\/support\/4528586-how-to-renew-a-titan-email-plan\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"intercom-content-link\">renew it<\/a>. It will be reactivated as soon as we receive the payment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Check that your <b>domain <\/b>is also active&nbsp;and has not&nbsp;<a href=\"\/support\/3004042-domain-life-cycle#h_2631e41a1b\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"intercom-content-link\">expired<\/a>&nbsp;or been&nbsp;suspended.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul><p class=\"no-margin\">After that, if you encounter that your email service is <b>automatically disabled <\/b>and\/or the status of your email account is <b>Suspended<\/b>, it will appear as follows on the Email Accounts page:<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><div class=\"intercom-container intercom-align-center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/55\/2022\/12\/734a049c-123d-4593-b49d-884ce3c55cdf.jpg\" alt=\"An example of a suspended email account\"><\/div><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">The<b> most common reasons<\/b> for a suspended mailbox are:<\/p><ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><a href=\"https:\/\/support.titan.email\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/900001359746-Email-Bounce-Back\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"intercom-content-link\" rel=\"noopener\">Bounce limits reached<\/a> &ndash; too many messages have been sent to <b>incorrect or inexistent<\/b> <b>recipients<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><a href=\"https:\/\/support.titan.email\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/900002601386-Feedback-received-through-ARF-reports\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"intercom-content-link\" rel=\"noopener\">Abuse reports<\/a> &ndash; the domain or account has been reported for <b>sending spam<\/b> <b>or spam-like content<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Potential hack<\/b> &ndash; when <b>unusual activity<\/b> is detected, an account can be suspended for security reasons; an account may be hacked due to the use of weak passwords, an infected website, or by using poorly coded\/malicious SMTP plugins.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><a href=\"https:\/\/support.titan.email\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/900000761843-Titan-End-User-Terms-of-Use-\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"intercom-content-link\" rel=\"noopener\">Breach of agreement<\/a> &ndash; sending malicious content or otherwise <b>breaking Titan Email&rsquo;s Terms of Use.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><h2 id=\"h_dc5775b2ce\">Unsuspending Titan Email services<\/h2><p class=\"no-margin\">Suspensions due to the previous reasons are reviewed case by case, and different actions may be needed.  <\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Contact Titan Mail support directly<\/b> to speed up the verification process and ensure that your email services are back on track as soon as possible. <\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">To do so, follow this link: <a href=\"https:\/\/support.titan.email\/hc\/en-us\/requests\/new\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"intercom-content-link\" rel=\"noopener\">Submit a request &ndash; Titan Mail<\/a>. Once there, submit the form by providing the required information:<\/p><ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Your email address<\/b> &ndash; any email address you have access to and can use to send and receive emails; for instance, it can be the email address you used to sign up at Hostinger.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Subject<\/b> &ndash; enter <b>Email suspension<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Description<\/b> &ndash; provide the suspended mailbox (e.g., <code>name@domain.tld<\/code>), indicate that your provider is Hostinger and that you&rsquo;d like to know the reason for service suspension and the steps to unsuspend it.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Classification<\/b> &ndash; select <b>Query<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Optionally, you can add screenshots of any error messages or <a href=\"\/support\/5240979-how-to-check-email-headers-at-hostinger#h_a5f8e9e239\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"intercom-content-link\">full email headers<\/a> in the <b>Attachments<\/b> section.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul><p class=\"no-margin\">Finally, click on <b>Submit<\/b>.
