To send emails via<\/b> PrestaShop<\/b>, you need to configure some <\/b>email parameters. <\/b><\/p>

To do it, go to your PrestaShop administrator panel, and navigate to Advanced Parameters<\/b> → E-mail<\/b>:<\/p>

In the Email<\/b> section, select Set my own SMTP parameters<\/b>:<\/p>

Now, configure the SMTP <\/b>server according to the email service you use, entering the following information:<\/p>

    Email domain name<\/b> – the domain name of your PrestaShop website <\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    SMTP server<\/b> – the host of your email server, obtained from the articles given above<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    SMTP username<\/b> – your complete email address as created on your hosting panel<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    SMTP password<\/b> – the password of your email address<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Encryption<\/b> – select the encryption type corresponding to your email service. Typically, it will be SSL or TLS<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    SMTP Port<\/b> – enter the port to securely connect via SMTP, it should correspond with the encryption type selected above<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>

    Once you fill in these details, click on Save<\/b> to apply the changes. Then, test it by clicking on Send Test Email<\/b>:<\/p>

    Fixing Possible Errors<\/h2>

    If you encounter any issues, first check if your email service is enabled<\/b>. <\/p>

    If the email service is active, we highly recommend you reset your email password<\/b> and input the SMTP parameters one more time.<\/p>

    \n<\/p>

    Alternatively, you double-check that the encryption method and port <\/b>are correct and matching.<\/p>

    Fixing the ‘Expected response code 354’ Error<\/h3>

    If you get the following error when sending the test email:<\/p>

    Error: Please check your configuration
    Expected response code 354 but got code \"554\", with message \"554 5.5.1 Error: no valid recipients \"<\/code><\/pre>
    It means the email address you’ve specified for the SMTP username does not match the addresses specified in the shop parameters. To fix it, navigate to Shop Parameters<\/b> → Contacts<\/b>, and update the email address in the Contacts<\/b> tab:<\/p>

    Next, go to the Stores<\/b> tab, and update the shop email<\/b> address:<\/p>
