The Browser terminal is a feature available with all Hostinger VPS plans<\/a> that allows you to manage your server using terminal commands directly from your web browser. This tool eliminates the need for third-party SSH clients<\/a>, providing a convenient way to execute commands and manage your VPS files and configurations through hPanel.<\/p>

Access the VPS Browser Terminal<\/h2>

  1. Go to hPanel →<\/span> VPS<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Select the VPS by clicking Manage<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. In the VPS Overview, locate and click the Terminal<\/strong> button.

  4. A new browser tab will open automatically with the Terminal. To ensure the tab opens, always allow pop-ups and redirects from hpanel.hostinger.com<\/code> if needed.

  5. In most cases, the terminal will log you in automatically. If you are prompted for a login (for example, if you ended the last session using the exit<\/code> command), enter your SSH username (usually root<\/code>), press Enter, then type your SSH password<\/a> and press Enter again. The password will not be visible as you type.<\/li>\n<\/ol>

    Using the terminal<\/h2>

    Once the terminal session is active, you will see a command-line interface. You can now begin entering commands to manage your VPS directly. This session functions exactly like a standard SSH connection.<\/p>

    It is recommended to use the terminal in only one tab at a time. When done, just close the tab.<\/p>
