If your web, cloud, or Agency hosting plan has expired due to a missed payment and now shows an Expired<\/strong> status, you can reactivate it directly from the home page of hPanel within <\/span>30 days<\/span><\/b> of the expiration date<\/span><\/span>. This process restores your websites so your online projects can go back online.<\/p>

Renew an expired hosting plan<\/h2>

When you renew an expired hosting plan, your websites will be automatically restored. This includes websites created with <\/span>Hostinger Website Builder and Hostinger Horizons<\/span><\/span>. <\/span>Email accounts and their data are not included in this restoration process.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

  1. Go to the Your to-dos section on the Home<\/a> page of hPanel.<\/li>\n
  2. Click Renew <\/b>next to the expired hosting plan.

  3. Choose to renew or upgrade, select your preferred renewal period and complete the payment.<\/li>\n<\/ol>

    The restoration process typically takes between 30 minutes and a few hours, depending on the total size of your websites.<\/p>

    Download available backups<\/h2>

    If you do not wish to reactivate the hosting plan, you may still have the option to download the most recent backup of your files and databases. This option is only available while the hosting plan is in Expired<\/strong> status, which lasts for 30 days following the expiration date.<\/p>

    Once a hosting plan is fully canceled after the 30-day window, backups are no longer available, and this option will no longer appear in hPanel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>

    The backup includes files and databases for HTML\/PHP-based websites. It does not include emails, websites created using Hostinger Website Builder and web applications created with Hostinger Horizons.<\/div>

    To download your data:<\/p>

    1. Go to the Websites<\/a> section of your hPanel.<\/li>\n
    2. Click on Generate backup<\/b>.<\/li>\n
    3. Confirm your file and database selections, then click Generate download link<\/strong>.\"\"<\/li>\n
    4. Depending on the file size, the process can take up to a few hours. During this time, the options to create new backups or Renew will be temporarily disabled.<\/li>\n
    5. A Download<\/strong> button appears once the archive is ready.<\/li>\n<\/ol>

      Once the payment is processed or the backup is downloaded, you have successfully secured your data<\/span><\/span>. <\/span>If you reactivated your hosting plan, your websites will automatically become visible online again shortly<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>
