If you have a full backup of your website hosted on cPanel, you can easily import emails to Thunderbird with the help of the ImportExportTools NG <\/b>extension. To do so, follow the steps below 👇 <\/p>

Step 1 – Install an Email Import Extension in Thunderbird<\/h2>

In Thunderbird<\/b>, click on the triple bar ≡ <\/b>in the top-right and select Add-ons and Themes<\/b> from the menu:<\/p>

Search for the extension ImportExportTools NG<\/b>:<\/p>

Step 2 – Start the Import Process<\/h2>

In Thunderbird, find the email account into which you wish to import emails. Right-click on Inbox <\/b>and select ImportExportTools NG <\/b>→ Import EML Messages<\/b> → Individual EML Messages<\/b>:<\/p>

Step 3 – Find Email Files in the Full Backup <\/h2>

Now, within the full backup, locate the email backup folder. First, open the homedir<\/b> folder:<\/p>

Then, open the mail<\/b> folder:<\/p>

Select the folder that has the domain name of the backup in question:<\/p>

Step 4 – Finish the Import Process <\/h2>

The cur <\/b>folder will be empty. To view files within, select All files <\/b>(instead of Emails files<\/b>) here:<\/p>
