.CA domains are a type of top-level domain<\/a> (TLD) specific to Canada. They are used for websites, businesses, and organizations located or operating within the country. <\/p>

Requirements<\/b><\/h2>

Before initiating a .ca domain transfer, make sure that:<\/p>

    You have the EPP code of the domain name.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    You have a local presence address in Canada.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>

    If you choose <\/b>the Canadian Presence Requirements (CPR) with Personal details<\/b>, you must have the local presence address in Canada:<\/p>

      The Registrant name must be the entity’s official name that will hold the domain name registration, without any abbreviations. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        Aboriginal Peoples (individuals) indigenous to Canada (ABO)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/details>

        If you choose the Canadian Presence Requirements (CPR) with Company details<\/b>, you will need to have valid legal details in Canada with these additional documents:<\/p>

          A Sole Proprietor should be registered under the legal type category of Canadian citizen or permanent resident using personal details<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          The legal form must be mentioned in the owner’s handle (e.g., LTD, BV, GMBH).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          If you wish to use the ‘Trademark’ legal type, you must have a valid and active trademark within Canada.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>

          The ‘Corporation’ legal type can’t be selected without the legal form in the name.<\/p>\n<\/div>
