Otherwise, please refer to <b><a href=\"\/support\/5972689-how-to-connect-to-your-hosting-using-sftp\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"intercom-content-link\">How to Connect to Your Hosting Using SFTP<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<\/div><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">SFTP is available on all hosting plans which have remote access included. Just follow these steps:<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><h2 id=\"h_c65fa2d145\">Step 1 &ndash; Preparations<\/h2><p class=\"no-margin\">First, make sure that:<\/p><ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">You have <a href=\"\/support\/1583645-do-i-get-ssh-access-how-to-enable-ssh-access\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"intercom-content-link\">enabled remote access<\/a> by going to the <b>Remote access<\/b> page on hPanel and clicking on the toggle next to <b>SFTP only<\/b>:<br>&#8203;<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container intercom-align-center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/55\/2025\/01\/c1d2f3b5-4434-4106-8168-a0e027ea65f2.jpg\" width=\"550\" data-media-id=\"2140\" alt=\"Hostinger remote access settings with SFTP only toggle highlighted as active\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">You have installed the client version of <a href=\"https:\/\/filezilla-project.org\/download.php?type=client\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"intercom-content-link\" rel=\"noopener\">FileZilla<\/a> on your device.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><h2 id=\"h_e4cdb130cd\">Step 2 &ndash; Connecting<\/h2><p class=\"no-margin\">You can easily connect to SFTP by following one of the options below:<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><h3 id=\"h_4ebd520cd5\">Option 1 &ndash; Direct Access<\/h3><p class=\"no-margin\">Open <b>FileZilla<\/b> and fill in the Quickconnect section with the configuration you got from the <b>SSH Access<\/b> section:<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><ol>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Host<\/b>: The FTP IP from the <b>Remote access<\/b> section, using the <b>sftp:\/\/<\/b> protocol.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Port<\/b>: 65002<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>User<\/b>: The FTP\/SSH username<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><div class=\"intercom-container intercom-align-center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/55\/2025\/01\/1285b51c-3dd5-4905-82be-2aa608771800.jpg\" width=\"500\" data-media-id=\"2141\" alt=\"Hostinger remote access panel showing SFTP IP, port, and username fields\"><\/div><p class=\"no-margin\">&#8203;<\/p><div class=\"intercom-container intercom-align-center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/55\/2025\/01\/04f41734-e2f4-4a19-8dba-e95f9b6e2c89.jpg\" data-media-id=\"2143\" alt=\"FileZilla quickconnect bar with host, username, password and port fields highlighted for SFTP login\"><\/div><p class=\"no-margin\">Click on <b>Quickconnect, <\/b>and you will be connected to FTP server.<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">If you encounter an &ldquo;Unknown host key&rdquo; and you will be connected to the server.<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\"><b>NOTE<\/b><\/p><ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">The SFTP\/SSH password is the same as the FTP password of your main domain.
