Slow upload speeds in the File Manager can be caused by various factors. To resolve these issues, it’s helpful to start by addressing the most common causes. This guide will walk you through a series of troubleshooting steps to help improve your upload speed.<\/p>

Slow uploads may occur if there is scheduled or emergency maintenance on our servers. To check if this is the case, visit our Status Page<\/a> for updates on any ongoing maintenance. If maintenance is in progress, you can expect upload speeds to return to normal once it’s completed.<\/p>

Check the Stability of Your Internet Connection<\/b><\/h2>

If you’re still experiencing slow speeds, using a VPN can help by reducing the distance between your device and our servers. Choose a VPN server location closest to your hosting plan’s server and try uploading your files again. To find your hosting plan’s server location, go to Websites → Dashboard<\/b>, click on Plan Details<\/b> in the sidebar:<\/p>

As a final option, you can transfer your hosting plan to a server location closer to you. This will move all your websites to a new server, change your server’s IP address, and temporarily lock you out of your hPanel for up to 4 hours during the transfer.
