Remote Access allows you to securely manage your website files and server via SSH (Secure Shell) <\/b>or SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol)<\/b>. This guide will walk you through enabling remote access, retrieving your login details, and connecting via SSH or SFTP with an Agency<\/b> hosting plan. <\/p>

Enabling SSH\/SFTP Access<\/h2>

    Navigate to hPanel > Advanced > Remote Access<\/b>: <\/p>\n

              Managing SSH Keys<\/h2>
              To enhance security, you can add an SSH key instead of using a password:<\/p>

                In Remote Access<\/b>, scroll down to SSH\/SFTP Keys<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                Click Add SSH\/SFTP Key<\/b> and paste your public key.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                Save the changes and use the corresponding private key to log in.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>

                If your website is hosted under an Agency plan<\/b>, your file access is limited to the public_html\/wp-content\/*<\/code> directory—you’re free to edit or delete only files within that specific path. If you wish to edit public_html\/wp_config.php<\/code> file, you’ll need to unlock editing permissions first. Head to the Websites<\/b> page, click Dashboard<\/b> next to your site, then go to Files → File Manager<\/b> in the sidebar.
