Before pointing a domain to <\/a>Elementor, make sure that you connect the domain name from My Elementor dashboard<\/a>.<\/p>

Step 1 – Find the A and CNAME from Elementor<\/h2>

You can find this by following all the prompts after connecting your domain from My Elementor dashboard<\/a>. You can click on Found it, what’s next? <\/b>To find the A and CNAME record.<\/p>

Step 2 – Add the DNS records in Hostinger<\/h2>

If your domain is using Hostinger’s nameservers<\/a>, you can open a new browser tab and access your domain’s DNS zone to create an A record<\/a> and a CNAME record<\/a>.<\/p>

    If you have enabled Hostinger CDN<\/a>, disable it.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Remove the AAAA record for the root domain (@), if there is one.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Remove<\/a> the existing A record or the root domain (@):

    Remove the CNAME record for www.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    Add the following records to your domain’s DNS zone:<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>

    Content: paste the value that you copied at Elementor<\/p>\n

    TTL: 14400<\/p>\n

    DNS record type: CNAME<\/p>\n

    Name: www<\/p>\n

    Content: paste the value that you copied at Elementor<\/p>\n

    TTL: 14400<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>

    After making these changes, DNS propagation<\/a> will begin. This process can take up to 24 hours. During this time, your website may be temporarily unavailable, but it will come back online once the process is complete.<\/p>

    Step 3 – Connect the domain to Elementor<\/h2>

      Go back to the Elementor tab and click I updated my records. Connect my domain.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      Wait for the process to complete. During this process, Elementor will:<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. \n

        Add the domain to your site<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      2. \n

        Issue an SSL certificate for the domain<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      3. \n

        Verify your DNS records<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>
