Hostinger Agency Hosting<\/a> lets you migrate your WordPress website using one of three options: automatic migration, manual file upload for Hostinger to restore, or manual file upload and restoration performed by you.<\/p>

Option 1 – Automatic migration<\/h2>

If your website is located under the same account but on different hosting plans, you can clone your WordPress website to the Agency plan. Go to Websites, click Import site<\/strong>, then choose Clone website<\/strong>. See how to clone a WordPress website to Agency Hosting Plan<\/a> for the full steps.<\/p>

If your website is located in another hosting provider, you can refer to these steps below:<\/p>

Click on Websites<\/strong> →  Websites list<\/strong> →  Import site<\/strong>, then choose Migrate from another host<\/strong> if you have login credentials, or Upload your website files<\/strong> if you have a backup archive:<\/p>

Migrate Offline Website<\/h3>

If your site is offline or you have a backup, you can easily upload your website files and database using the Upload your website files<\/strong> option.<\/p>

After uploading your website backup, you’ll be redirected to a summary page to review the migration details before final submission. Once the migration request is submitted, our expert migration team will handle the transfer for you, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free website migration.<\/p>

Migrate Online Website<\/h3>

If your website is online and you have the login credentials, simply select the Migrate from another host<\/strong> option to securely migrate your site with ease.<\/p>

Then you can continue following these steps:<\/p>

  1. Enter your website address (domain name) and click Next

  2. Enter your WordPress credentials and click Next
    \n\"Hostinger

  3. Click Submit request<\/b> once you are ready or Change <\/b>to select a domain from your plan

  4. Wait for the migration setup to be completed

    Do not leave this screen until the progress bar is completed. If you leave before the setup is complete all changes will be lost and you will have to repeat the process.<\/p>\n<\/div>

    Wait for the migration to be completed. You will be notified about it via email.<\/p>

    Option 2 – Manual migration<\/h2>
      \n
    1. Take a compressed backup wp-content folder and export database at the previous hosting provider.<\/li>\n
    2. Click Create site<\/b> and select WordPress<\/b>:

    3. Fill in your credentials and select the same WordPress version as in your previous hosting and click next:
      \n\"WordPress<\/li>\n
    4. Enter the domain name of your website or choose a temporary domain and click next:
      \n\"Hostinger<\/li>\n
    5. Go to File Manager of your fresh WordPress installation and delete the wp-content folder<\/a> (everything will be deleted except one folder)<\/li>\n
    6. Upload and extract<\/a> the wp-content folder from previous hosting provider<\/li>\n
    7. Access the database which was created when installing WordPress by going to Databases<\/b> > Management<\/b> and click on Enter phpMyAdmin<\/b>:

    8. Select and drop all database tables<\/a><\/li>\n
    9. Import the database backup<\/a> from your previous host<\/li>\n
    10. Check db-prefix in phpMyAdmin:

    11. If it’s different from “wp_”, then you need to update the wp-config file and set the same prefix as in the database (scroll down in the file to find the $table_prefix value):
