Hostinger CDN<\/a> is included with all Web hosting plans<\/a> as well as Cloud<\/a> and Agency<\/a> hosting, and it is enabled from Hostinger dashboard<\/a> for each website. It is not available on VPS<\/a> (Virtual Private Server) hosting or for websites hosted elsewhere, because the Content Delivery Network (CDN) works together with Hostinger’s hosting servers and DNS (Domain Name System).<\/p>

Websites on a temporary domain (hostingersite.com) are optimized automatically, and their CDN settings cannot be modified.<\/div>

Requirements to enable Hostinger CDN<\/h2>

The domain must use Hostinger nameservers<\/a>, and its A record must point to the IP address<\/a> of your hosting plan. Domains managed by external nameservers cannot be routed through Hostinger CDN until the nameservers are changed (see Hostinger CDN and your DNS records<\/a>).<\/p>

Only one CDN can be active for a website. Disable Cloudflare or another proxy service before enabling Hostinger CDN (see Hostinger CDN vs Cloudflare<\/a>).<\/p>

The website must be hosted on the plan itself; the CDN cannot be placed in front of a website hosted with another provider or on a VPS.<\/p>

What Hostinger CDN costs<\/h2>

The CDN, image optimization, caching, and security features are part of the hosting plan. There is no separate CDN subscription to buy and no per-visit CDN fee.<\/p>

Automatic activation on eligible plans<\/h2>

Hostinger enables the CDN automatically for eligible web hosting websites since August 2026, and sends an email notification before the change. The activation follows the same requirements as a manual activation, so Hostinger only updates DNS records in zones it manages — websites on external nameservers are not routed through the CDN automatically. When to contact Hostinger support about CDN availability<\/h2>

Contact Hostinger support<\/a> if the CDN option is missing for a website on an included plan, or if the CDN shows as unavailable although the domain uses Hostinger nameservers. Include the domain name and the hosting plan.<\/p>
