Go to <strong>hPanel&nbsp;<\/strong><br>\n2. You&rsquo;ll land directly on the DNS records page where you can add, edit, or delete records.<\/p><p><strong>Note:<\/strong> Domains registered elsewhere but pointing to Hostinger nameservers will also appear here under External domains.<\/p><div class=\"intercom-interblocks-callout\" style=\"background-color: #e3e7fa80;border-color: #334bfa33\">\n<p class=\"no-margin\">For domains pointing elsewhere by nameservers, use the DNS management tools provided by the respective <a class=\"intercom-content-link\" href=\"\/support\/4410887-dns-record-changes-in-other-registrars-hosting-providers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">platform<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><p class=\"no-margin\">Once on the domain management page, you can easily manage the <b>DNS \/ Nameservers:<\/b><\/p><div class=\"intercom-container intercom-align-center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/55\/2019\/02\/e499810d-1651-40e0-880a-2340e6613c61.jpg\" alt=\"Hostinger domain menu with DNS \/ Nameservers selected\" data-media-id=\"5480\"><\/div><p class=\"no-margin\">At the top of the <b>DNS \/ Nameservers <\/b>section, there are four main tabs: <b><a class=\"intercom-content-link\" href=\"#h_16d7f443c1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DNS records<\/a><\/b>, <b><a class=\"intercom-content-link\" href=\"\/support\/1583401-how-to-create-child-nameservers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Child nameservers<\/a><\/b>, <b><a class=\"intercom-content-link\" href=\"\/support\/3667267-how-to-use-dnssec-records-at-hostinger\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DNSSEC<\/a><\/b><b> <\/b>and <b><a class=\"intercom-content-link\" href=\"#h_e96c43bac6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DNS history<\/a><\/b>:<\/p><div class=\"intercom-container intercom-align-center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/55\/2019\/02\/610514bb-7869-45d8-b7a4-ca449d503214.jpg\" alt=\"DNS records tab selected in Hostinger DNS settings interface\" data-media-id=\"5483\"><\/div><div class=\"intercom-interblocks-callout\" style=\"background-color: #e3e7fa80;border-color: #334bfa33\">\n<p class=\"no-margin\">The availability of <b>child nameservers<\/b> and <b>DNSSEC <\/b>settings may vary depending on the domain&rsquo;s extension (TLD) &#128161;<\/p>\n<\/div><h2 id=\"h_16d7f443c1\">Manage DNS records<\/h2><p><strong>Key Features of the DNS Editor<\/strong><br>\nTo make managing your domain easier, the DNS zone editor includes several smart tools:<\/p><ul>\n<li>Bulk Creation: Customers can now add multiple DNS records at once instead of creating them one by one.<\/li>\n<li>Built-in Explanations: DNS record types now include built-in explanations directly in the selection dropdown, helping users quickly understand the purpose of each record before adding it.<\/li>\n<li>Contextual Guidance: We&rsquo;ve added contextual guidance across the entire DNS management flow, including active field placeholders and helper texts that explain exactly what information is expected in each field.<\/li>\n<\/ul><p class=\"no-margin\">The <b>DNS records <\/b>tab leads to the DNS zone management, where you can add, edit, and delete records:<\/p><h3 id=\"h_b130604446\">Add a record<\/h3><p class=\"no-margin\">To create a new record, enter the values for <b>type<\/b>, <b>name, content<\/b>, <b>TTL<\/b>, and any other additional information required, depending on the record type. If you want to point a subdomain somewhere, use A, CNAME, or TXT records instead.<\/div><h3 id=\"h_37eb1ce707\">Edit or delete records<\/h3><p class=\"no-margin\">You can view the full list of DNS records for your domain below the <b>Manage DNS Records<\/b> section. Use the search bar to find a specific record.<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">You will have the option to delete or edit each record.<\/p><div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/55\/2019\/02\/d4a6f96a-1e06-4310-9b1c-7324245eeabd.jpg\" alt=\"Hostinger DNS records table with TXT _dmarc entry and Edit option visible\" data-media-id=\"5484\"><\/div><ol>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Delete:<\/b> click the <strong>trash<\/strong> icon next to it. A confirmation prompt will appear &mdash; click <strong>Delete<\/strong> to confirm. This step helps prevent accidental removal of records.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Edit<\/b>: enter the new type, name, target, and TTL values, then click on <b>Update<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol><p class=\"no-margin\">After changing your DNS records, wait <b>up to 24 hours<\/b> for them to <a class=\"intercom-content-link\" href=\"\/support\/4146975-what-is-dns-propagation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">propagate<\/a>. Even if your domain&rsquo;s nameservers point to an external provider, you can still proactively manage your DNS records in Hostinger hPanel. Changes made here will be ready to take effect as soon as you switch the nameservers back to Hostinger.<\/p><h2 id=\"h_e96c43bac6\">Restore records<\/h2><p class=\"no-margin\">To restore your DNS zone to a previous version, select the <b>DNS history<\/b> tab and click on <b>Restore<\/b> next to the date for which you want to roll back any DNS changes:<\/p><div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/55\/2019\/02\/5940e034-ae06-483a-8c9e-f426eb1cfede.jpg\" alt=\"Hostinger DNS history tab with search field and restore buttons\" data-media-id=\"5485\"><\/div><p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Review the DNS snapshot<\/b> to ensure that these are the records you want to use to fully replace the current values.<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">Then, scroll down and <b>mark the checkbox<\/b> to accept that restoring DNS may affect your current website and that it will require some time for the changes to apply.<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">Once everything is good to go, click&nbsp;<b>Restore DNS zone.<\/b>&nbsp;Once <a class=\"intercom-content-link\" href=\"\/support\/4146975-what-is-dns-propagation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">propagation<\/a> is completed, your DNS records will be restored.<\/p><h2 id=\"h-bulk-delete\">Bulk Delete<\/h2><p>Deleting multiple records at once.<\/p><p>To remove several records in one go:<\/p><ul>\n<li>Check the boxes next to the records you want to delete.<\/li>\n<li>Click the Delete selected button that appears at the top of the table.<\/li>\n<li>Confirm the deletion in the prompt.<\/li>\n<\/ul><h2 id=\"h-import-and-export-dns-records\">Import and Export DNS records<\/h2><p>hPanel also allows you to <b>bulk import and export DNS records<\/b> using a standard BIND zone file.<\/p><p><b>How to Export DNS Records<\/b><\/p><ol>\n<li>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/hpanel.hostinger.com\/domains\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">hPanel &rarr; imported records are added alongside existing ones<\/li>\n<li><b>Replace<\/b> &mdash; all existing DNS records are removed and replaced with the imported ones<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Confirm the import.<\/li>\n<\/ol><div class=\"intercom-interblocks-callout\" style=\"background-color: #e3e7fa80;border-color: #334bfa33\"><b>Note:<\/b> Choosing <b>Replace<\/b> will permanently delete all current DNS records, including those for your website and email. Only use Replace if you are certain you want to fully overwrite your DNS zone. If in doubt, use <b>Append<\/b>.<\/div><div><\/div><div>\n<h2 id=\"h-subdomains\">Subdomains<\/h2>\n<p>You can now view and manage your subdomains directly from the DNS \/ Nameservers page of your main domain.
