Parking domains is not supported for websites built with Horizons or Hostinger Website Builder.<\/p>\n<\/div>

To park a domain, follow these steps:<\/p>
\n<\/p>
Step 1 – Prepare the domain for parking<\/h2>
Before parking the domain, make sure that:<\/p>

You have full ownership and control of the domain name you want to park.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
You can access and edit the domain’s DNS settings:<\/p>\n
- \n
- \n
If the domain is registered at Hostinger, the DNS Zone can be found in hPanel by navigating to Domains<\/a> <\/b>→ Domain portfolio → Manage → DNS \/ Nameservers<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
For domains registered elsewhere, use the DNS management tools on your domain provider’s platform<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>
\n<\/p>
Step 2 – Park the domain<\/h2>

Go to hPanel and select Websites<\/a> <\/b>→ Dashboard<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
Find Parked Domains<\/b> on the sidebar, and click on it:

Enter the domain name you want to park and click Park<\/b>

Step 3 – Point the domain<\/h2>
After parking the domain, update its DNS settings to point to your website. You have two options:<\/p>

Use the website’s assigned nameservers<\/a> – This will transfer your domain’s DNS zone to Hostinger.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
- \n
A record<\/a> – This will directly point the domain to your website’s IP address.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>
After pointing the domain wait a few hours for DNS propagation to complete and the parked domain will start working.<\/p>
\nIf you receive an error while adding the parked domain to your hPanel, ensure the domain’s A record is properly pointing to your hosting plan’s IP<\/a> first – then, try again!<\/p>\n<\/div>

Managing parked domains<\/h2>
You can view and manage your parked domains by scrolling down to the Parked Domains<\/b> section. There, you can check if the domain is pointing to Hostinger, as well as remove the domain if needed:<\/p>
