Account Sharing<\/b> allows you to securely<\/b> grant access to your account to another person, for example, a developer or collaborator.<\/p>

Granting access<\/h2>

To grant access, click on the Account Sharing <\/b>in the left-bottom of the home page:<\/p>

Now, on the Account Sharing<\/b> page, click on the Grant Access<\/b> button:<\/p>

Then, you will be presented with further options:<\/p>

Here, you can determine an access level, select the services you wish to share, and determine if the user can set up pending orders by filling out the form. <\/b><\/p>

When everything is good to go, click on Grant Access<\/b>. A confirmation message<\/b> will be sent to the user; they must click on the link to be granted access to your account.<\/p>

    If the new user does not have a Hostinger account yet, they will be prompted to create one<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>

    What actions can the user with granted access perform on the account?<\/h2>

    A user with granted access will be able to make<\/b> changes to your websites<\/b>, such as modify files and databases<\/b>, as well as change hosting-related settings <\/b>in your control panel ✅<\/p>

    What actions cannot be done?<\/h3>

    To ensure your account’s privacy and security, a user with granted actions cannot perform the following actions<\/b> 👇 ❌<\/p>

      \n
    • Manage or add payment methods <\/b>to your account<\/li>\n
    • Invite others<\/b> to access the account<\/li>\n
    • View or change profile information<\/b> (for example, change email, name, phone, address, and password)<\/li>\n
    • Do the following tasks with domains<\/b>: transfer or unlock domains, change domain’s contact details, manage auto-renewals, sell domains in the aftermarket, respond to a domain buying service, or manage backorders<\/li>\n
    • Create separate access for free email plans<\/b>. It is now only possible for paid email plans.<\/b><\/li>\n
    • Delete<\/b> your account<\/li>\n
    • Set up<\/strong> new hosting or email plans<\/li>\n
    • Claim a free domain and a free email<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>

      Due to these restrictions, the Panel for an account with granted access will show fewer options than the owner account.<\/p>

      Managing shared access<\/h2>

      For the current users with granted access, check the Users that have access to your account<\/strong> list on the Grant access<\/strong> tab, where the email addresses, access type, and status will be listed.<\/p>

      To revoke any access to your account, click on ⋮ →<\/span> Remove access<\/b> next to the email address.<\/p>
