Back up a website at HostGator to upload it to your hosting plan at Hostinger.<\/p>

Back up your HostGator website<\/h2>

If you want to back up a website hosted at HostGator and upload it to your hosting account at Hostinger<\/a>, follow these steps:<\/p>

    Log in to your HostGator’s cPanel.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Click on the Backups<\/b> menu in the Files<\/b> section.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Under the Full Backup<\/b> section, select Generate\/ Download a Full Website Backup.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Select the Home Directory<\/b> option from the Backup Destination<\/b> drop-down menu.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    Specify your Email Address<\/b> if you want to get a notification when the backup is complete.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  6. \n

    Click on Generate Backup<\/b>, which will create the backup file in tar.gz<\/b> format in your home directory.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Now, you can then download the backup via cPanel, FTP or SSH.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>
