If you have a WordPress website and wish to roll it back to a previous date, you can easily do it with Restore Website<\/b>! It will restore both the files and database to a date of your choosing.<\/p>

Restore your website<\/h2>

  1. Go to Websites → Websites list → Dashboard<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Search for Backups<\/strong> on the sidebar and click it.

  3. On the Restore and Download<\/strong> tab, under Website backup<\/strong>, select your preferred date and click Restore<\/strong> website<\/strong>.\"\"<\/li>\n
  4. A pop-up appears with a data overwrite warning. If you’re ready to replace the current website, check the box and click Restore<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>

    After a few minutes, depending on your website’s size, both the files and database are restored to the selected date together. Restoration continues in the background even if the browser tab is minimized or closed — check progress in the Restore History tab.<\/p>

    If you didn’t find “Website backup<\/strong>“, you need to restore your files and database separately by following the steps below.<\/p>

    Restore your files<\/h2>

    To start the process, go to Websites<\/a> → Websites list → Dashboard.<\/b><\/p>

    Then search for Backups<\/b> on the sidebar and click on it:<\/p>

    Once on the Backups<\/b> sections of your panel, select Restore and Download<\/b> tab. Under Files backup<\/b>, select your preferred date and click Restore Files<\/b>:<\/p>

    Once you’re good to go, a pop-up will emerge with a message regarding data overwrite. If you’re ready to replace the current website, check the box and click Restore<\/b>:<\/p>

    Restore your database<\/h2>

    Once the files restoration is complete, repeat the same steps under Database backup<\/b>. You’ll be shown a dropdown to enter your database name. If you’re unsure about your database name, check out our guide How to Find Your WordPress Database<\/a>.
