If you want to migrate from a Web or Cloud hosting plan to a CyberPanel VPS hosting<\/a><\/b>, follow these steps:<\/p>

\n<\/p>

Step 1 – Download Backups From hPanel<\/h2>

To get information from hPanel easily, all you have to do is download the backup<\/a><\/b>. If your website is using a database<\/b>, make sure to download it as well.<\/p>

\n<\/p>

If you have any hPanel settings, like redirects, you will need to recreate them later inside CyberPanel itself – it’s recommended to wait until you have everything set up and working correctly at your VPS before deleting your domain from the previous hosting plan. <\/p>

As an alternative to the Backup<\/b> feature on hPanel, you can download your files via FTP<\/a><\/b> and export the database via phpMyAdmin<\/a><\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Step 2 – Upload the Data to Your VPS<\/h2>

    Activate your VPS order<\/a><\/b> if it was still pending setup<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Log in to CyberPanel and add your domain<\/a><\/b> <\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Transfer your files using your preferred method: via the CyberPanel File Manager<\/a> <\/b>or using FTP<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    If your website uses a database, create and upload the database on CyberPanel<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    After the database is uploaded, update your configuration files<\/a><\/b> with new database parameters<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>

    Step 3 – Point Your Domain<\/h2>

    Once your content is fully migrated to your VPS, you can point your domain by following this guide: How to Point a Domain to Your VPS<\/a><\/b>.<\/p>

    After updating your domain’s DNS record, consider up to 24 hour for the propagation<\/a><\/b>, process to complete.<\/p>

    Step 4 – Migrate Emails (Optional)<\/h2>

    If you were using Hostinger Email<\/b>, you can migrate your emails by: <\/p>

      Setting up your mail server<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      And then migrate your existing emails. You can use the following free tool: IMAP SYNC tool<\/a>. <\/b>You will need to provide your old email account credentials and IMAP server: imap.hostinger.com<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>

      If you used a different email provider<\/b> (such as Titan or Google Workspace) you don’t need to make any changes, just make sure that all the email DNS records<\/b> (MX, SPF, DKIM) are set up correctly on your domain.<\/p>
