Preparation<\/h2><p class=\"no-margin\">Before you begin:<\/p><ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Verify whether the top-level domain (TLD) of the domain you wish to move is one of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">A <b>generic<\/b> top-level domain (gTLD) such as .com, .net, .online, .store, etc.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">One of these <b>country-code <\/b>top-level domains (ccTLDs):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>.co.uk <\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>.in<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>.co.in<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>.gen.in<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>.ind.in<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>.net.in<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>.org.in<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Check if your domain name:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Has been registered for more than <b>96 hours<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Hasn&rsquo;t been transferred between Hostinger accounts within the <b>past 10 days<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Is <b>active <\/b>and doesn&rsquo;t expire in the next 10 days.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul><h2 id=\"h_492c79a3ed\">Step 2 &ndash; Log in to the destination Hostinger account. Enter the new domain contact details:<\/p><ol>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Choose the <b>country<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Select whether the domain is your <b>personal <\/b>property or belongs to a <b>company<\/b>\/<b>organization<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Click <b>Next step<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Enter the correct <b>contact details<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Finally, click <b>Finish registration<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol><div class=\"intercom-interblocks-callout\" style=\"background-color: #e3e7fa80;border-color: #334bfa33\">\n<p class=\"no-margin\">After you change the domain owner details, you may receive a&nbsp;<b>verification message&nbsp;<\/b>for <b>both the current and new<\/b> email addresses. The domain move will be initiated <b>once the email address change <\/b>is verified &#128161;<\/p>\n<\/div><p class=\"no-margin\">After the domain move is complete, the domain will be owned by and managed from the new account.<\/p><h2 id=\"h_3f6270245f\">Troubleshooting<\/h2><h4 id=\"h_e5cf41e279\">The domain was moved between Hostinger accounts less than 10 days ago<\/h4><p class=\"no-margin\">Domains can be moved once every 10 days. In this case, wait for the 10-day period to pass and try to move the domain again.<\/p><h4 id=\"h_52e706456c\">Domain move failed<\/h4><p class=\"no-margin\">If you&rsquo;re getting the following error:<\/p><div class=\"intercom-interblocks-callout\" style=\"background-color: #e8e8e880;border-color: #73737633\">\n<p class=\"no-margin\">&#10060; <b>Your domain move failed. <\/b>There is already a pending action on this domain.<\/p>\n<\/div><p class=\"no-margin\">This means that the change in the domain contact details is<b> already being processed<\/b>.
