To use SMTP for sending emails on your WordPress website, you’ll need a plugin. We recommend the Easy WP SMTP<\/a> <\/b>plugin, <\/b>as it’s easy to set up and work with. <\/p>

\n<\/p>

Start by installing<\/a><\/b> the Easy WP SMTP <\/b>plugin on your WordPress. Once you activate it, you’ll be headed to an onboarding process. Click on Let’s Get Started<\/b>, and follow the steps 👇 <\/p>

\n<\/p>

Step 1 – Choose Your SMTP Mailer<\/h2>

Select Other SMTP<\/b><\/p>

\n<\/p>

Next, click Save and Continue<\/b> to move on.<\/p>

\n<\/p>

Step 2 – Configure Mailer Settings<\/h2>

Enter the SMTP values of your email service. If the Auto TLS <\/b>toggle appears, click on it to disable it.<\/p>

Leave the Authentication<\/b> toggle on to enable authentication and fill in the mailbox information:<\/p>

    SMTP Username<\/b> – the email address you will use to send emails from<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    SMTP Password<\/b> – it will be the password of your email address<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    From Name<\/b> – the name of the sender; if you want this setting to override any other names, enable the Force From Name<\/b> toggle<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    From Email <\/b>– <\/b>enter the same email address as in SMTP Username<\/b>; leave the Force From Email<\/b> toggle enabled<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>

    Step 3 – Email Features<\/h2>

    By default, the Improved Email Deliverability<\/b> and Email Error Tracking<\/b> features are enabled and cannot be disabled.<\/p>

    \n<\/p>

    Optionally, you can have a weekly email summary, as well as other premium options. Select the desired ones and move to the next step.<\/p>

    \n<\/p>

    Step 4 – Feedback (Optional)<\/h2>

    Optionally, you can enter an email address for notifications, as well as allow the plugin to track usage data for improvement. You can choose to skip<\/b> this step.<\/p>

    \n<\/p>

    Step 5 – Enter License Key (Optional)<\/h2>

    If you have purchased an upgrade for the plugin, enter the license key and click on Connect<\/b>. Otherwise, you can skip<\/b> this step.<\/p>

    \n<\/p>

    Step 6 – Verification<\/h2>

    The plugin will run a check that all the details are correct. If you get a “Congrats, you’ve successfully set up Easy WP SMTP<\/b>” message, you’re good to go. Now you’ll be able to send emails from your WordPress website using your email account 📬 <\/p>

    \n<\/p>

    You can choose to send a test email<\/b> or finish the setup<\/b> to go back to your WordPress administration panel.<\/p>
